With locations throughout Southern California, Mercado el Rey had been looking for years to enter the Santa Barbara area. But finding just the right spot for their Latino style grocery was challenging. Size, location, competition, terms and demographics all played a significant role in defining the perfect spot.
After years of frustration identifying the strategic combination of attributes in a grocery location, they turned to Presidio Real Estate’s for help with regards to local knowledge of demographics, regulatory codes, zoning and market availabilities for help.
